Real women put VS swim to the test
Have you ever seen something that looks amazing on the model in a catalog or online but for some reason, when you put it on it just doesn’t have the same feel? You aren’t alone. Many people find themselves staring into the mirror hoping to see the same beauty that they saw on their favorite website or brand advertising.
Bikinis and swimsuits are often some of the hardest and most sobering looks into one’s idea of beauty. Everyone knows that models in magazines and clothing advertisements aren’t “real people.” While that doesn’t make them any less beautiful, it isn’t necessarily a good representation of what real people look like.
But none of this takes away from the models. They have earned and worked hard for their bodies and deserve appreciation. The important thing to remember is that everyone is beautiful in their own way.
One shouldn’t judge beauty by the one cover model or the person whose job it is to look good or maybe even a result of some good Photoshop. The real goal would be to look and feel comfortable in your own skin whatever your body type.
