The hottest haute handbags

As the biggest month in fashion winds down with the end of London, Milan, New York, and Paris Fashion Week it’s all about the most popular handbags. We break down the most popular bags from fashion week by location.

London Fashion Week
One of the dominating styles taking over the U.K. is the tiny handbag. 16Arlington featured a variety of tiny handbags for their Fall 2020 collection with one bag featuring hundred of crystals with a thick gold chain for the handle and a double mini box bag.

Rejina Pyo offered some unique handbag styles including one resembling a takeout box and a geometric banana shoulder bag. Simone Rocha featured a round bag that resembles a huge pearl with silver metal accents.

New York Fashion Week
New York embraced unique-shaped and transparent handbags. Area debuted a series of transparent bags including a heart-shaped handbag with clear PVC and literal silver lining. Area also had a transparent tote handbag option with a printed image of a paradise with palm trees.

Bibhu Mohaptra took inspiration from the tiny handbag trend that was prevalent during London Fashion Week in several colors in leather. Collina Strada offered a unique crystal-covered handbag in the shape of a garden watering can along with crystal-adorned stainless steel water bottles.

Paris Fashion Week
Givenchy debuted a bigger handbag style with one handbag covered by a Givenchy silk scarf, accessorizing an accessory is some next-level style for Paris Fashion Week. One outfit featured a blue and red plaid print with a large handbag that features the matching print to seamlessly blend in with the outfit.

Thom Browne brought some interesting handbags to the runway that resembles the shape of animals in black leather including a rooster, elephant, and duck. Lanvin featured handbags that resemble a small structured piece of luggage inspired by the 60s and 70s.

Milan Fashion Week
Bulgari debuted a new handbag featuring iridescent colored leather with a snakehead embellishment for the clasp on the flap of the bag along with another leather option in bright pastel colors, perfect for Spring. Salvatore Ferragamo offered a variety of handbag sizes featured in olive green leather.

Moschino takes the prize for the most unique bags on the runway in Milan for the Marie Antoinette theme featuring bags that look like a baguette of bread and a slice of cake.
