Manicures are a simple pleasure that every girl loves to indulge in. The perfect color can be incorporated to your outfit, serve as a statement, and if you get nail art, your nails can even act as jewelry. But what happens when you don’t feel like waiting for your nail appointment and you’re a little, ahem, lazy?

For the girl who doesn’t want to spend too much time doing her manicure, this is the perfect manicure.

What you’ll need:

Nail file
Nail buff (optional)
Polish remover
Base coat
Nail color of choice
Top coat
Quick dry drops (optional)

Now follow these steps:

Step 1. Usually at a salon, you would dip your hands in some soak for a few minutes. Yea, we’re a bit lazy and have no time for that. Instead, grab your file and tidy up the edges. If you’re nail beds have some ridges, buff them lightly.

Step 2. To make the nail polish last a little longer, clean your nails with some nail polish remover. If for whatever reason you’re running low on it, alcohol will do the same trick.

Step 3. Apply your favorite base coat and wait until it dries completely.

Step 4. Now apply 2 coats of your favorite nail varnish. Use a light hand and apply thin coats. After it dries, finish off with a top coat to seal the deal.

Step 5. This is completely optional but if you need to run somewhere after applying the top coat, use some quick-dry drops.
