If you thought that Lady Gaga’s Tiffany Diamond Necklace stole the night, you might have called it too early. Social media completely stopped when Zoe Kravitz arrived in an 18K gold bra top at the Vanity Fair after party.
The mesh bra top, also designed by Tiffany & Co., consists of woven fine gold and is valued at $24,000. Much like Lady Gaga’s necklace, Kravitz’s top is another brand storied brand relic.
Kravitz top is a part of the Elsa Peretti Mesh collection, which originated in 70s. According to Harper’s Bazaar, the famed Tiffany & Co. collaborator conceived the design on her trip to the exotic Jaipur. The blingy bralets made their debut in 1975 Halson fashion show, and were an instant success.
If you’re a fan of Kravitz’s experimental bra top, you’re in luck. You can buy a similar sterling silver version of it on the Tiffany & Co. site for $5,800. No sign of the gold in stock. While its orgins are in the 70s, this metallic masterpiece places into many of today’s top fashion trends including body contouring mesh and daringly sheer pieces.
Kravitz completed her ensemble with a straight, floor length black skirt, shapely YSL bucket back, tear drop earrings, and a no makeup makeup look that was heavy on the brow. All together, the recently engaged actress embodied minimalism at its chicest!
