Borrowing your boyfriend’s closet is nothing new since his jeans practically live in your closet now. There’s just something so chic about a woman mixing masculine and feminine pieces to create that perfect balanced look. But why stop at jeans when he has a whole closet full of great clothes?
If you need some help on what items you should be looking for, here’s a few that you need to borrow ASAP.
The classic white button-down. One of the most understated-stated pieces in your bf’s closet is one of the most versatile pieces you will ever have. It looks just as great paired with some ripped jeans and a blazer or underneath a black cocktail dress or skirt. The possibilities are endless and this is a great piece to start borrowing.
A tuxedo jacket. Just like the white button-down, there are so many different ways you can style this jacket and they all look incredibly chic. Wear it on top of a short dress with some sexy heels or with some skinny jeans and loose top.
His watches. Specifically, the gold one. A gold watch works great as a statement piece if you’re not that big on wearing jewelry. If you live for being well accessorized, a watch is great as layering piece for your arm party.
A cardigan. Since it’s pretty cold outside, nothing feels more comfortable than a chunky cardigan. Your bf’s favorite cardigan looks great with a plain white t-shirt and some skinny jeans so grab it before he decides to wear it first. His other sweaters work just as great so don’t limit yourself to just the cardigans.
A graphic t-shirt. If you want to add an edgy vibe to your look, a graphic t is the perfect piece. It looks just as great with a pair of leather skinny pants and sneakers as well as underneath a pencil skirt with some heels.
