The perfect little black dress (LBD for short) is one of the few items in our closet that will never go out of style. Back in 1926, “Vogue” declared the little black dress as the “uniform for all women of taste” so if you’re a true fashionista, this dress is surely in your closet.
The beauty of the LBD is that you can wear it countless ways: dress it up for a date with the hottie you met last week at the coffee shop or dress it down for a daytime get-together with your best friend from college. Key items like a statement necklace or a leather jacket is what differentiates the time of day when the LBD is worn.
For a daytime LBD fun, throw on a leather jacket and some sneakers with your hair in a ponytail. It’ll make you look street chic while being effortless. For a night out, wear some bling like a statement necklace and some ankle strap heels. Wear a blazer over it if you want to give it a more chic feel.
