Yesterday we had for you the best dressed at The Golden Globes this year (our heart still flutters for Lupita Nyong’o) but we’ve saved the best for today: the worst dressed on our lists. It pains us to put some of the ladies on this list given their spectacular dresses at other events but it has to be done. Check out our Worst Dressed at The Golden Globes 2014.
Paula Patton
The wife of R&B singer Robin Thicke showed up at the red carpet wearing massive ruffles on the side of an otherwise decent white dress. We’re not sure what her broght her to wearing such an odd dress but all we can think of is last minute desperation. The length is also worthy of mentioning since it was too short and showed her platform shoes that looked a bit tasteless.
Hayden Panettier
Being a petite girl can be a great inconvenience at time because there are pieces that just aren’t made for that body type. Hayden learned the hard way at the Golden Globes when she wore a Tom Ford dress (which Ford did not dress, he dressed Naomi Watts) that was so unflattering we had to call the fashion police. The top part of the dress made her look somewhat bulky and the dress itself didn’t adapt well to her body.
Kelly Cuoco
The Big Bang Theory star made a big disaster wearing an awful dress that washed her out completely. The color of the dress did not suit her own skin color and the print looked like it belonged on our grandmother’s bed comforter. Kelly is a beautiful girl and we think she could have done more with her hair than just flat ironing it.
Jennifer Lawrence
Last but certainly not least is our favorite photobomber and funny girl Jennifer Lawrence. We’re not completely sure why she decided to wear a dress that looked like a white comforter (was bedding an intentional theme at the awards this year?) with two belts wrapped around her. She’s so tall, lean, and beautiful so why must she hide this? Her makeup looked stunning as did her pixie cut but she wore better dresses in her movie “American Hustle”.
