The biggest hair trend that’s spreading like wildfire at the moment is definitely pastel hair. Celebrities are mostly to thank for this trend as many of the most popular ladies in Hollywood have been sporting some sort of either pastel or brightly colored hair. Nicole Richie and Kelly Osbourne were one of the first to dye their hair to a lovely lavender color and from then on, others have followed like Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, and Kylie Jenner.

Pink. This color is almost a given as it’s sweet and feminine and appeals to many women. It’s mostly seen in pastel versions but celebs like Demi Lovato prefer a stronger shade like hot pink. Lavender. We’ve all seen Nicole Richie and Kelly Osbourne in this color and how amazing it looks on them. This color is great if you don’t want to look too washed out as it brings out the yellow and orange undertones in the skin. Although the pastel version of this color is most popular, you can make it a bit darker by adding some blue and still keep within the trend.
Mint green. The most surprising color of them all is definitely mint green. The fashion world has been obsessed with this color the past few years whether it’s clothes, shoes, or nails so it was only natural that hair was next. Lady Gaga and Demi Lovato both dyed their hair mint green at one point and now Katy Perry and Kylie Jenner have done the same but in a darker shade. This color is best if you want to make a statement with your hair color.
Coloring your hair is a big commitment, especially is such bright colors like these so make sure to care for it properly. Less washing is key and should only be done with cold water to lessen color fading. Dry shampoo will be your best friend so it’s best to have a few on hand.
