The whole month of December is basically just one big party month. There are holiday parties going on all the time and along with them come the planning of what you’re going to wear, what gift you’ll be giving, if you’re bringing a date, etc. and making your life easier is a must. Lucky for you, we have a great hairstyle that’ll save you some time for when you’re getting ready for the big party.
For a quick fishtail ponytail, try out this tutorial.
What you’ll need:
–2 clear elastics
–Hairspray
–2 bobby pins
Now follow these simple steps:
Step 1. Separate 2 sections (left and right around the temple areas) from the front of the hair. You’ll need these to wrap around the ponytail later on.
Step 2. Gather the hair and create a ponytail that’s aligned to the mid part of your ears. Secure with an elastic.
Step 3. Take one of the front sections of hair and wrap it around the elastic. Secure it with a bobby pin. Repeat the same step with the other section of hair.
Step 4. For the fishtail braid, start by dividing the ponytail in to two pieces. Take a small piece from the outer part of the right section and cross it over to the left section of hair. Then take a piece of the outer left section of hair and cross it over to the right. Repeat this until you can’t braid the hair anymore.
Step 5. To make your braid look fuller and plentiful, pull out the hair a bit.
Step 6. Take any fly-aways with hairspray.
