Whether you’ve been vintage shopping or lost some weight recently, sometimes a belt can be too long and you’re not quite sure what to do with it. You want to wear it but wrapping it around twice through the belt loops on your pants looks too awkward and if it’s that long, wearing it around your waist most likely isn’t an option. Getting rid of it is a no-go because it’s too cute so finding another option is necessary.
If your belt is too long and but you really want to wear it, try out this quick style tutorial.
Step 1: Put your belt through the belt loops like you normally would.
Step 2: Pull the belt to the left so that the first belt loop to your left is free.
Step 3: Take the tail of the belt and place it through that free left loop and then through the buckle.
Step 4: Once you’ve put the tail through the buckle, take the tail and go underneath the belt then through that mini loop you created.
Step 5: Tighten the knot well and you’re good to go.
