The Met Gala never fails to disappoint or to bring the hottest celebrities with the most extravagant outfits and some of the latest styles of the year. Jennifer Lopez was the talk of the show with one of the most stunning outfits of the night.
The Met Gala is an annual fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. More specifically, the Gala is to raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute which showcases some of the latest fashion and style trends of the year. This year’s theme was Camp.
Jennifer Lopez wore her campiest outfit by showcasing over $8 million worth of jewelry. Her jeweler of choice; none other than Harry Winston.
Along with her simply stunning and awe-inspiring Versace paillette dress, J. Lo wore a purple sapphire and 129.48-carat diamond necklace while rocking the red carpet at the gala. Her iced-out look caught the attention of everyone at the event and was definitely in line with the theme of the event.
