The Kardashians are winning once again, the search platform Lyst “Year of Fashion” has awarded Kylie Kardashian as the Most Influential Fashion Celebrity Of The Year 2018. The founder of Kylie cosmetics is said to have increased the search for various fashion items on the web this year, with a 119 million followers count on Instagram and 26 million on Twitter, a $1 billion self-made cosmetics company and her newborn baby.

She has been the reason for over two million internet searches this year ranging from Dior sunglasses to Adidas tracksuit, Victoria Secret’s underwear and Alexander Wang mini dresses. The short pink dress she wore on her 21st birthday saw the increase in the search for “pink dresses” by 107 percent in the next 48 hours.

Her sister, Kim, followed closely on the Lyst influencer list, Kim Kardashian who worn the CFDA influencer of the year has always been known for trending fashion unusuals, with the introduction of her stylish biker shorts, neon bikini. Lyst reported that she helped revive the Fendi logo when she posted a photo dressed head to toe in the FF ‘Zucca’ monogram, helping boost searches by 16 per cent month on month.

Former actress turned Duchess, Meghan Markle who married Prince Harry of England came third with the reports the Meghan Effect continues to grow worldwide. Her wedding day outfits caused huge spikes in search for both Givenchy and Stella McCartney, while her daytime looks have also inspired millions of shoppers to try a ‘boat neck’ or ‘tuxedo dress’.

On average, if Meghan wears a designer, that brand will see a 200 percent increase in search demand over the following week. Other celebrities on the list are Cardi B, Beyonce, style blogger Chiara Ferragni, Serena Williams, Rihanna, Blake Lively and Ariana Grande.
