Pinterest is the mecca of DIY’s and you can find a tutorial for just about anything. Some people love getting crafty and others like seeing fashion inspiration (like our Pinterest) but one thing we all love: a good beauty DIY. Because why buy when you can make it?

Check out some of our favorite Pinterest beauty DIY’s that are easy to do and effective.

Lip and cheek tint. Our hearts break every time a powder blush goes to waste because it fell on the floor. Whenever this happens to you, take a small little pot and add about 1 tsp. of the blush to start off. Then add 1 tbsp. of coconut oil and mix well. If it you want more color, simply add more of the blush.

Nose strips. We all know how expensive those black nose strips from Sephora can be and would like for them to be a lot cheaper given how often they need to be used. To lessen the dent in your pocket significantly, make your own with clear gelatin. In a small disposable cup (because it’s hard to wash it off once it dries), mix 1 tbsp. of unflavored gelatin and 1 tbsp. of milk. Microwave the mixture for about 15 seconds and apply as quickly as possible without burning yourself. It’ll be warm but should not be scorching hot. Leave on for about 10 minutes and peel off.

Oatmeal bath bags. During the cold months your skin needs extra moisture and nourishing and moisturizing bath can help. In a mesh a small party favor bag (can be found at arts and crafts stores), add about 2 tbsps. of oatmeal and you’re done. You can mix some essential oils and even coconut or almond oil to make it extra fancy.

Champagne toner. Champagne is great for toning, detoxifying, and evening out the skin so if you have any leftover from New Year’s, this is a great time to use it.
