EPAUGUST

Fall is on its way and with the weather change, beauty routines change as well. From face mist to foundation and even a makeup sponge, see what products are sitting on my vanity this month.

Neutrougena Clear Face Liquid Lotion Sunblock SPF 55, $11.99. I’m quite obsessive when it comes to sunblock because the sun is the number one cause of premature ageing and have tried many over the years. Sometimes sunblock can cause breakouts due to oils or other ingredients but this one is sure to leave your face as clear as when you put it on in the morning.

Caudalie Grape Water Spray, $18. This mist has been my favorite for a long time and really does great things for my skin. You can use it as a setting spray, a refresher throughout the day, or even as a toner in your skin routine. It provides a good amount of moisture and lasts for a while.

YSL Fusion Ink Foundation SPF 18, $60. If you’ve been blessed with oily skin, you’re going to love this foundation. It has light to medium buildable coverage and has velvet finish that doesn’t make your skin look dull. I find myself having to blot a lot less during the day and wears for a good 6 to 8 hours on my skin.

Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, $9.99. After much searching at every pharmacy and Target that was within a 30 mile radius around me, I finally got my hands on this palette. It’s supposed to compare to the first Urban Decay palette so naturally every beauty lover stocked up on it—including myself. This palette has such great color pay-off and lasts all day and night with the help of a good primer. The colors are classics and aren’t intimidating so anybody that has a good blending brush can create endless combinations.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, $5.99. I love my beauty blender and how amazing it makes my foundation look but after leaving it overseas on my last vacation, I didn’t want to pay for a new one. After a routine trip to Ulta, I found this sponge and took it on whim since it was so cheap. Best money I’ve ever spent on a beauty tool hands down. It’s definitely a dupe for the Beauty Blender and I happen to like even more due it flat side that lets me apply foundation around my eyebrow area. Do yourself a favor and pick this up, you won’t regret it!
