This trend was made popular last year when we saw many artists wearing Boy London and YSL on plain white or black shirts and took the fashion world in countries like Japan, Korea, and the UK by storm.
This year, however, we’ve seen many popular fashion bloggers and celebrities like Kelly Osbourne and Rihanna wearing the infamous Céline Paris t-shirt in a very fashionable way. The t-shirt gives the look a very chic and minimalistic feel as the trend only calls for black and white. Although the Céline t-shirt is super popular this season, Boy London and YSL’s “Ain’t Laurent without Yves” aren’t far behind because they’ve also made a comeback this year. Treat this t-shirt as a fashionable blouse. We know, this sounds weird because it’s just a t-shirt but because this is considered a fashion essential this summer you need to look at it in a different light. For a classic chic look, pair this t-shirt up with a white or black blazer , a high waist black skirt (make sure to tuck the shirt in), and some ankle strap heels. Because the t-shirt may look too plain on its own, pair it up with some gold accessories like a statement necklace and some gold rings. For hair and makeup, a messy bun and some red lips will liven up this look. If going for a chic look is a bit much for you, try wearing the shirt with some high waist shorts and flat sandals. Don’t forget to add a pop of color on your face like a vivid pink pout because, as we said before, this look can look a bit plain.
