Renowned Canadian songstress Celine Dion showed off her admittedly surprising street fashion last week Tuesday as she stepped out in Paris wearing a brightly colored neon yellow dress, reminiscent of childhood favorite Sesame Street’s Big Bird.
The dress even had a hood and a drawstring on it, looking more like a floor-length raincoat rather than an actual dress. It was also paired with another item that seemed completely out of the ordinary considering what it was being paired with – an oversized gray tweed blazer with a white cable-knit lower half.
The difference between the two items was quite obvious, and yet Dion managed to pull it off spectacularly. She even paired them with a few lovely accessories: a black crossbody bag, heavy-duty white high-top sneakers, pear-shaped hoop earrings, black sunglasses and a low bun that framed her face.
The entire outfit itself was in contrast with the singer’s style during the recent Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019, where she wore an Oscar de la Renta flaming red dress and Alexandre Vauthier pieces consisting of a jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and a sparkling black evening gown with a thigh-high slit worn on another day.
