Testing out beauty products is one of my favorite parts of being an editor. When season’s change, so does skincare and makeup. Keep your skin and body looking beautiful with my picks for the month of July.
Benefit Cosmetics Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm in Cha Cha, $15. I’m a lover of all things coral and orange so the Cha Cha tint is very close to my heart. Unfortunately because the weather is so hot outside, I’ve spent most of my time inside with the AC blasting causing me to get dry lips. This balm is super hydrating and gives just the right amount of color so I can keep up with the orange lip trend.
DR. DENNIS GROSS SKINCARE Alpha Beta® Peel Original Formula, $15 – $145. These pads are skin savers! With each time you use these, your skin starts to glow and reveal a healthier, younger version of itself. I’ve got extra sensitive skin that turns red easily and these pads were incredibly gentle. I’ll be stocking up on these because I never want to run out.
Neutrogena Body Oil, $7.99. During the summer I dislike using creams on my body. Not only are creams heavy but they make you sweat so much—a big no-no in hot weather. This body oil is perfect for the summer because it’s light and really sinks in to the skin leaving it hydrated with a lovely glow.
BOSCIA Tsubaki Beauty Oil, $46. I’m completely in love with beauty oils and this particular one has been amazing for the summer. During the colder months my Josie Maran Argan oil is perfect but when it’s warm it makes my skin look a bit oily. This oil is perfect for the summer because it’s light and absorbs quickly into the skin giving you just a light glow. With ingredients like omega 3 acids, Wakame, and rice bran oil, this is sure to be a soon-to-be favorite of many.
Dolce by DOLCE & GABBANA, $29-$112. What a beautiful scent for the summer. It’s light, feminine, elegant, and floral making it the perfect perfume for those who are looking for something more appropriate for the season. With key notes that include Neroli leaves, White Amaryllis, and White Water Lily you’ll be smelling your wrists all day long.
