Need a chic updo for an upcoming event but have little to no time to get it done? Maybe it’s a wedding or perhaps an anniversary with your significant other but one thing’s for sure: you need to do it asap. Try out this low chignon to look great for any formal event.
What you’ll need:
–2-3 large bobby pins
–4 regular bobby pins (or as many as you need)
–A tail comb
Now follow these steps:
Step 1. Part your hair. This can be down the middle or a deep-sided part but for a wispier look, down the middle works best. Smooth the hair back behind your ears and gather it at the nape of your neck.
Step 2. Twist the hair from the nape all the way to the end and warp it around itself counter clockwise to create a bun.
Step 3. Secure each side of the bun with the 2 large bobby pins and slightly pull at the bun until you get your desired size.
Step 4. Secure all around with the remaining bobby pins.
Step 5. To add more volume to the chignon, you can pull some of it out with your tail comb and the same can be done to the crown of your head if you wish.
Step 6. Finish off with hairspray and you’re ready for your event!
