As the face of the Chanel’s No.5 L’Eau fragrance, French-American actress and model, Lily-Rose Depp is definitely the best person to get beauty advice from.

The 19-year-old shares hair and beauty tips, some of which she got from her mother, French model Vanessa Paradis. We can definitely learn a few things from these, too!

1. Don’t use too much makeup

“For [every day], if I have a pimple or something I’ll do a little bit of concealer. Then a little bit of blush – the Chanel Joues Contraste blush smells so nostalgic for me because my mum would always put it on in the car. She’d put a bit on her eyelids as well and I do that now: cheeks, eyelids and the bridge of my nose. And I’ll do some lip pencil and maybe a little liner on the inside of the eyes.”

2. Never go to sleep without washing your face

“I never go to sleep wearing make-up, I think that’s very important. And I just make sure my skin is clean and moisturised. I’m kind of simple when it comes to skincare. I think it’s about listening to your skin and changing it up and, you know, making sure that you’re doing what works for you.”

3.  Always maintain your hair

“I don’t colour my hair but I love wearing wigs, just for fun. I haven’t worn one to an event or anything yet but me and my friends love putting them on and doing photoshoots and stuff like that. I have really thin hair so I don’t like to put too much product on it. And I’ll sleep with coconut oil in sometimes.”

4. Don’t forget your workouts

“[Working out] makes me feel happy – it releases endorphins and makes you feel good. I like to walk places as much as I can and keep active. But in terms of workout classes and things like that, I get bored really easily so I definitely like the faster, dancey ones. It’s good to get your blood pumping. I think if you’re having a bad day, go and run around or walk around! I think it makes you feel better.”

Thanks for the awesome tips, Lily-Rose!
