For the girl that has no time in the morning to get ready, rushing out of the door with a piece of toast in hand and putting on a shoe in the other, a beauty routine is almost non-existent. Applying makeup takes too much time and effort and what about the hair? Oh goodness, the hair. Another 10 minutes you don’t have.

If you’re looking for a quick beauty routine that won’t sacrifice too much of your time in the mornings, try out our quick 10 minute (or less!) beauty routine.

Start off with moisturized skin. Even if you’ve never been a fan of makeup, taking care of your skin is a must. Be sure to apply your favorite moisturizer prior to any type of makeup application for a smoother finish.

Swap the foundation for concealer. Cover the areas that need the most coverage like the under eye area, any blemishes, and around the nose and mouth where pigmentation can occur. Because you might be tight on time, use a brush to buff out the product on to the rest of your face if you feel you need extra coverage.

Curl your lashes. Don’t skip out on this part as it makes your eyes look wider and more awake. If you really have time and think you won’t poke out an eye, apply a coat or two of mascara concentrating on the roots to make your lashes look plentiful.

No time for brows? No problem. It’s always good to frame your face by shaping and filling in your brows but because it can take a few extra minutes, brush the brows with a tinted brow gel. It will make them look fuller and a bit more polished. Don’t have brow gel? Mix a 2:1 ratio of clear aloe vera gel and brow powder that matches your own brows.

Double duty lipstick. We love lipstick for many reasons but one of the most important is the fact that you can use it not only on your lips but on your cheeks as blush too. After you’ve applied your favorite pink or coral color to your lips, dab a bit of the product on to the apples of your cheeks. This will give a flush of color while providing glow due to the dewy finish.

Braid that hair if it’s unruly, leave it down if it looks fine. If you can’t get a comb through your hair, the best thing to do, if it’s long enough, style it in a side braid. Make a deep part and braid away. If you’re hair is too short or it looks fine on it’s own, just spray in some dry shampoo on the roots and you’re good to go.

And that’s it! We got this look done in under 10 minutes. How long will it take you? Give it a go a try it for yourself.
