Brush cleaners are a must for every makeup lover and we can all agree that they’re pretty much a necessity. Dirty makeup brushes can harbor bacteria that in turn causes breakouts on your face so keeping your brushes clean also means clear skin. Unfortunately, this cleansing liquid can get pricey and if you factor in having to clean them every other day, the numbers add up.
Stop wasting your money and make your own at home. You only need 3 products for this DIY:
–1 tbsp. Baby shampoo (organic if you want an all-natural formula)
–1 cup of Water
–1/4 cup of Rubbing alcohol
–Empty plastic bottle or mason jar
Combine everything in your container and shake shake shake! When cleaning your brushes, our out a bit of the liquid in a small cup or bowl, swirl them around, and brush up and down on a paper towel or a small re-usable towel.
