Lipsticks are the one product you can actually multi-task so if you’re running low on blush or even eye shadow, try these helpful tips.

Lipstick as blush. Many ladies hesitate on doing this because it can seem odd but it’s a money and time saver. After you’ve applied the color on your lips, dab a bit of the color on your pointer finger and warm it up so it glides easier on the skin. Smile and apply it on the apples of the cheeks but drag it back a bit. Blend it in with the leftover foundation on your blush and you’re good to go.

Lipstick as an eye shadow. This one is thinking outside of the box but once you’ve tried it, you’ll fall in love. For a wash of color the spring, try using a matte pastel shade like pink and coral. Matte textures last more and look more appealing than the glossy kind. Pastel colors were all over the runways for Spring 2014 so you’ll be on trend if you try this out.

Any lip product will work from regular lipsticks, lip tints, and lip crayons so long as it has tint in it. Matte lipsticks work better on the skin especially the eyelids since they can be oily. If you’re going for a more natural look, glossy lip colors look great on the cheeks as it looks like a flush that comes from within.

Cream blushes perform in the same way for lips so don’t discard them just yet. Check out the tutorial to see how you can make the most out of your makeup.
