We’re all familiar with Kiehl’s and their amazing skincare products but this summer we’ll all be introduced to the line’s very first nail polish. It’s due to launch in July and the color will be black. The varnish will benefit amfAR in the fight against AIDS, a disease that Kiehl’s has long contributed since 1996.
President Chris Salgado told WWD.com “We’ve had motorcycles [in our stores] for 40-plus years, and we’ve always had that biker-esque image, so we thought black would be great,”. Salgado started a bike ride back in 2010 with 20 bikers called the “LifeRide Movement” to pique the interests of others while the motorcycles ride by and this year is no exception; the bike ride will initiate in Milwaukee and end at their very first store on 3rd Ave. and 13th St. in New York City.
The black nail polish is due to launch this July and will retail from $15-$18 at all Kiehl’s stores. Be sure to pick one up during the summer to contribute to a great cause while keeping your nails looking chic.
