To remove the stains from your nails, you’ll need a few of your vanity and household items:

1. Nail polish remover

2. Nail buff

3. Baking soda

4. Lemon or lemon juice

5. Hydrogen peroxide

6. Nail pencil (optional)

Remove all nail polish from your nails. Use the nail buff to get cleaner and brighter looking nails. Next, mix about tablespoon of the baking soda, lemon juice, and hydrogen peroxide to make a paste. Add more baking soda if it looks so watery.

Lastly, dip your nails into the mix for 10 minutes. If the stains are extra tough, take some of the paste and rub it onto your nails to gentle exfoliate it off. You can do with an old tooth brush but it isn’t necessary. After the 10 minutes are up, wash your hands and you should see visibly less stains than what you had before.

This step is optional but if your nails are long enough, take a white nail pencil and run it through the inside of your nails. Apply a clear top coat for extra shine.
