Layering during fall certainly isn’t new news, but this season it’s what designers, celebrities, fashion bloggers and everyday fashionistas are layering that has us style starry-eyed. Ladies, the upcoming fall season is all about layering fun, putting fresh and unexpected pieces together to create a vibrant and cohesive look. When it comes to layers this season, clothing is not the only fashion item getting in on the trend, layered accessories like necklaces, bangle bracelets and rings all getting in on this multi-level fall trend as well.
Layering was all the rage at the fall runway shows of Nicholas K, Isabel Marant and Vera Wang, who all showed outfits with fun and interesting layers. Of course during fall and winter you can always layer with the traditional items like cardigans, scarves and coats. But we suggest you choose to load on the layers with one the two items below for a ultra-chic and fashion forward ensemble this fall.
Layering with Accessories
While layering your accessories may not keep you any warmer during the chilly fall and winter months, it will certainly keep your look chic.
Layer a set of wooden and gold bangles for a statement arm cuff-like accent that looks perfect when paired with a boho style ensemble. Next time you’re going for a rocker chic look, think about layering on a few trendy rings, statement rings and mid-finger rings combined make for a great way to play up your fingers and show off a fun manicure, may we suggest snow white or red hot nails. Laying necklaces is the perfect way to go for an understated layered accessory look, choose two or three when rocking this look at work and go for 3 or more when wearing layered necklaces on the town.
