Selena looks fabulous in a Givenchy suit
Hot off the release of not one BUT TWO incredible girl-anthems, Selena Gomez is serving up all the inspiration. From the lyrics in her songs “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now” to the jaw-dropping outfit she was spotted in this week, we can’t help but be in awe.
Taking the business-sensual (like business-casual but the 2019 version) trend for a ride, Selena left her record label, Interscope, in a shirtless blazer and slacks combo from Givenchy, and in case we weren’t already looking at her, really all we can do is look at her now.
The pressed suit gives the look the appropriate business edge for demanding to be taken seriously, but nixing the shirt typically worn under a blazer makes the look sultry. Gomez paired the winning combo with strappy sandals, a simple pearl choker, and Marc Jacobs bag.
Gomez’s new music comes after a five-year break of her producing her own songs. While she has collaborated on tracks and recorded on various TV and movie albums, the star had taken what seemed like a much-needed break from the industry to focus on her physical and mental health and pursue some of her more political passions.
Now that she’s back, many are speculating if the song “Lose You to Love Me” is an ode to her long past with ex Justin Bieber. Neither Gomez or Bieber have weighed in on this, but in her daring and bold Givenchy suit, she seems to be doing just fine on her own.
